Oh, Harry Potter.

I finished (finally, no? It only took me two days :P). It was probably the most amazing book that I have ever read, just because I’ve been reading the books for a lifetime and now it’s over. Click on the pretty link to read more!

PS – My friend said this blog is getting really nerdy (from Laptops, to Wordpress, to Harry Potter). Once I have a life, I’ll talk about it.

SPOILER WARNING

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The beginning, I thought, was already so intense. Not like flying cars, fainting on the Express, or getting petrified, but Hedwig died. I guess it was a signal that a lot of people are going to die….Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The middle dragged on. It was pretty cool how Harry, Ron, and Hermione did all that researching, guesswork, and solving problems all on their own. When Ron left, it was devastating, but I knew he would come back. It just wouldn’t work if he didn’t. Hermione had the perfect Hermione reaction when he did return, but she went a little overboard.

Then end was absolutely fantastic. It was confusing, with all the love and horcruxes and hallows, but it was awesome. I thought Mrs. Weasley was the best mom ever when she pointed her wand at Bellatrix. Snape, oh Snape. I felt so bad for him during the memory scene. He was a great man. And Dumbledore, he’s full of surprises and explanations. I thought the pre-duel between Harry and Voldemort was, I don’t know… cliché? Maybe? Maybe not. I could just imagine it in my head, those two walking in a perfect circle. The end of the book was the most happiest. The epilogue was so good! It was needed to close this series. Good job, JKR.

RIP: Hedwig the Owl, Mad-Eye Moody, Dobby the Free House Elf, Fred Weasley, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora “Tonks” Lupin, and Professor Severus Snape.

Oh yeah…. Warner Brothers, or whoever makes the movies, have fun making this one!
